Derek Sallmann, “All Seasons”
The 21-year-old Waukesha native lays it on too thick with the lovey-dovey lyrics, and some of the more interesting touches, like nimble acoustic guitar flights on “When I See You,” are overshadowed by broad melodic hooks. Still, Sallmann shows skill with instantly-accessible, easy-listening pop melodies.
